Each safari is personally planned by Baluku, a highly experienced local guide who has spent more than a decade exploring the forests, savannahs and communities of Uganda, Rwanda and Tanzania. His deep understanding of the region, combined with a genuine love for sharing it, shapes every journey we create.
Our safaris, led by either Buluku or a colleague are unhurried and considered, allowing space for wildlife encounters, cultural experiences and the quieter moments in between that often become the most memorable.

“Baluku organised a truly wonderful tour of Uganda, with accommodation that was exceptional throughout. The lodges were comfortable and beautifully located, with great food and attentive, friendly staff who made us feel very well looked after. Some of my favourite memories are the quieter moments – sitting on the verandah watching birds skimming over the water, keeping a careful eye on the lawn in case the hippos had wandered up from the lake, and falling asleep to the calls of animals, like music in the background.
One of the things I most appreciated about Baluku was how quickly he noticed my interest in birds and made a real effort to spot them for me. We would often pull over at the side of the road just to watch a bird, never feeling rushed, which made the experience feel very personal and special.
I was also deeply impressed by Baluku’s commitment to his local community. He puts some of his profits into a range of community initiatives including planting trees, and it was a privilege to be part of that by each planting a tree ourselves. He is also working towards building a school for local children, which says so much about his values.
